Will my wish come true?
This spread looks at what supports your wish, what may stand in its way, and how the situation can unfold.
Will my wish come true? looks at a specific aim: what is already working in its favor, what stands in the way, and what outcome may be possible under the current conditions. The three cards answer a question about a desired outcome, not a general request to know whether life will go well.
About the Will my wish come true? spread
Name the wish in concrete terms: a move, an offer, a deal, a place at a school or program, a reconciliation, a way out of a dead end. The clearer the aim, the easier it is to distinguish what supports it from what stands in the way. The spread looks at the circumstances around what you have in mind, inner and outer, and at the possible outcome given how those factors are currently interacting.
The cards may show that the goal already has favourable conditions supporting it and still runs into a deadline, someone else’s decision, or your own inconsistency. They may show that the obstruction outweighs the support, in which case fulfillment may look less likely under the current conditions. This is not a method for making a wish come true, and it is not a guide to how a wish should be phrased. It is a reading of the situation around a goal.
If you want a short answer without separating support from obstruction, Yes or no is enough. When the course of events around the wish matters more than the formula “it will or it will not,” What awaits me? is the closer spread.
What the three cards show
The first card is What helps. These are resources that already exist: the right moment, support from other people, a clear intention, experience already gained, circumstances that happen to line up. Help does not always look dramatic. Sometimes it is simply a stable condition that supports the goal.
The second card is What gets in the way. The obstruction may be outside you: a refusal, a delay, competition, a lack of means. It may be inside: doubt, fear of succeeding, a blurred aim, the habit of putting things off. Do not soften this position only because the first card is pleasant.
The third card is Possible outcome. It shows where the situation is heading if the supportive and obstructive factors remain much as they are now. The outcome does not cancel the obstacle, and it does not strengthen the help on its own. The three positions read as support, resistance, and outlook, not as three ways of saying the same thing.
Questions you can ask
A direct question about a wish belongs here. Name the wish itself, not the mood around it. If you have several aims, do separate readings, or the three cards will mix different stories.
- Will my wish come true?
- What is helping this wish come true?
- What might get in the way?
- What are the prospects for what I have in mind?
- How might the situation around my wish develop?
How to read support, obstruction, and outcome
Do not let one card outweigh the others. Fortunate support does not cancel a strong obstruction. A heavy second position does not wipe out the possibility if the third card shows a shift, but it does explain why the path is not straight. Name what is already working, then what is slowing things, and only after that read the outlook.
When help and obstruction pull in different directions, the result often describes a condition: progress may remain possible as long as you keep one factor in view and do not ignore the other. When the first two cards show little support and serious obstacles, read the third inside that context, not apart from the rest of the spread. The cards point to the likely direction of the situation surrounding your goal. They do not turn a wish into an event that must happen.
